 Career FoundationsIn a pre-vocational training program, students are introduced to various learning experiences that will provide the necessary skills to gain employment and adapt to a changing work environment.
This customized program includes:
- Introduction to the Computer
- Basic Keyboarding skills
- Introduction to Computer Applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- English Grammar & Writing, focusing on workplace communication
- Consumer Math, necessary for daily work activities
- Basic Financial Literacy, using the FDIC "Money Smarts" curriculum
- Employability Skills Training, equipping students with the skills needed to secure and maintain employment such as interviewing techniques, resume development, and job search strategies
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9AM – 2:30 PM.
