Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of New London County, Inc. is a private non-profit organization funded through a combination of federal, state, local and private revenue sources, as well as through the generosity of the community we serve.
Over the years we have served more than 30,000 people as they enter/re-enter employment, gain marketable skills, and contribute to a better standard of living for their family and our community. During these recent tough economic times, the need for our programs are greater than ever, with a daily increase in requests for our services.
OIC's career-specific certification training programs include Culinary Arts, Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), and Basic Skills such as Computers, Employability/Life Skills, Financial Literacy, and Academics. OIC also provides Placement Services in our Project Employment and BRS programs, and we offer clients support services through such programs as Stopping Domestic Violence, Family Violence Education, and our OIC Food Pantry and Clothing Closet.
OIC is a proud partner agency of the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut.
